ZRT®-Matrix-Therapy: Chronic Pain Treatment and Enhancing Postsurgical Recovery
ZRT® Matrix Therapy is a therapeutic method, developed by Dr. B. Dickreiter, based on a set of techniques, established in the former USSR and Eastern Germany as a form of physiotherapy for athletes. It was found that athletes treated with Matrix Therapy experienced great benefits in terms of the rate and quality of recovery following training and competition. Their rate of injury decreased, especially in the muscles and tendons (the “musculoskeletal system”).
ZRT® Matrix Therapy - effective in general rehabilitation of chronic disease and chronic pain
ZRT® Matrix Therapy normalises metabolism after hard training and competition by optimising the natural metabolic turnover (the continual turnover of components necessary to ensure healthy cells). The progress made by Dr Dickreiter (after having encountered these techniques during the 1990s) was the application of this set of proven, highly effective rehabilitation techniques, in the areas of chronic pain, metabolic disorder and post-surgical treatment.
While being applied, studied and refined in one of the major rehabilitation centres in Germany (Rehaklinik Klausenbach) where Dr B. Dickreiter held the post of Chief of Medicine, the methodology of ZRT® Matrix Therapy proved helpful and effective in a series of indications that had, until then, defied surgical and pharmacological treatment.
By directly addressing the local living conditions of cells forming tissues and organs, chronic pain was addressed in a way that gave many patients permanent relief and enabled them to stop taking frequent pain medication.
